I’m sure you’ll share
my enthusiasm about our group, because fun and learning more
about bass fishing in the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of
club competition, is what we’re all about. Your membership
will provide you with an avenue to gain more knowledge about
the sport of bass fishing. Many of our members have years of
experience under their belts in both competitive and non-competitive
bass fishing and are more than happy to share their knowledge
with fellow members. No matter what your level of expertise,
there’s always something to be learned. Our club tournaments
offer one of the quickest ways to learn about bass fishing
and equally important, we have a good time in the process!
The
club is affiliated with Bass Anglers Sportsman Society as a ‘Federation
Chapter”, requiring 100% B.A.S.S. membership in the W.V.B.C.
The benefits to the club and its membership are numerous. Annual
club dues are $60…which includes:
$20 – B.A.S.S.
membership (magazine)
$15 – National
Federation
$12 – State
Federation
$15 – W.V.B.C.
Additional
family members (wife, son, or daughter ect.) may be added for
Annual club dues of $37 at these rates:
$10 – B.A.S.S.
membership (magazine)
$15 – National
Federation

If
you’re already a B.A.S.S. member and your membership expiration
date is after the current calendar year ends or your Federation
dues have been ‘mothered in’ through another B.A.S.S. affiliated
club, that portion of your dues will be waived. In that case
I’ll need you B.A.S.S. ID# with the expiration date and/or
the Federation club you’ve ‘mothered in’ through, with the
proper amount in circumstance from the list above, for a new
membership or renewal.

Persons
who have their own boats from which to fish will have little
trouble with having the opportunity to participate in our tournaments.
Your club membership does not guarantee you a ride with a boating
member. We’ll do our best to get some match-ups with the non-boater.
We’re
a pretty good bunch. Hopefully you’ll find your association
with W.V.B.C. to be a good experience. Try to remain flexible,
as for in any organization sometimes changes in schedules,
places or times may be necessary.
